Frankfurt show: Lamborghini ST

Lamborghini has unveiled its most uncompromised Gallardo around the eve from the Frankfurt motor show the LP570-4 Super Trofeo. Top speed is nearly 200mph and -62mph takes just 3.4sec.

The brand new machine, revealed in Frankfurt now, is inspired through the competition vehicle that runs within the Sant’Agata firm’s one-make race series.

This ‘super sports car’ is lighter, faster and much more responsive compared to standard LP560-4 road vehicle, and contains performance along with a spec like the previous LP570-4 Superleggera Gallardo. Lamborghini claims from the Super Trofeo: “No other model within the Gallardo lines are as near to as being a true race vehicle.”

Carbonfibre and aluminium construction cuts down on the weight to 1340kg, some 70kg under the LP560-4. The Five.2-litre V10 engine generates 562bhp at 8000rpm and cranks out 398lb foot at 6500rpm.

The street vehicle adopts the racer’s robotised e-gear six-speed, paddle-shift transmission. Suspension is double aluminium wishbones.

The inside is equipped with a mixture of Alcantara and carbonfibre. The second can be used around the doors, monocoque racing seats, center console cover and, being an option, products like the controls.

Further race-inspired options include carbon-ceramic brake dvds, a rollcage, four-point safety belts and fire extinguisher. More mundane options include sitting-nav, Bluetooth connectivity as well as an anti-thievery system.

Stopping power originates from 365mm ventilated dvds with aluminium eight-piston calipers in front and 356mm dvds with four-piston calipers around the rear axles.

Just 150 LP570-4 Super Trofeos is going to be built since it is being created included in the 150th anniversary celebrations from the unification of Italia.

It will come in three colours: Italian racing red, gray and white-colored.

The cost hasn’t been revealed but ought to be within the same ballpark because the LP570-4 Superleggera’s £183,948.

  1. There’s nothing I hate more than walking into a store and seeing shelves lined with products I’m barely even interested in. I’m a paying customer, for crying out loud – can’t they just display the items I’m interested in, and NOTHING else?nI mean why even bother with the whole online experience? What happened to the good old days, when you blew on your cartridge, i1erted it, took it out and blew on it once more, i1erted it, and got to play your game? Ah, good times!nNow THAT’s Sarcasm!nLook, if you’re annoyed by displays of new games, DlC, Movies, Music…just click “A”, and play your game. Other people may actually be interested to learn about new releases/sales/etc when they log on.nThe only TRUE ads are small Doritos slots in the bottom right corner of some areas. If you’re griping about that, then sure, make your case. But please don’t pretend that the dashboard is littered with them.
